Unit includes UL tested waterproof heating pad with temperature adjustment range 86-146°F, time setting range 4-48 hours, and anti-gnaw cable. This safely provides feral cats the most suitable temperature to help them survive the dangerous and long winter.
All four walls, roof and floor are insulated ( 0.6 inch thick of Styrofoam ) for protection from outside harsh temperatures.
The waterproof linoleum roof is sloped so that no water accumulates and cats can jump on the roof to rest on sunny days. And the roof opens for easy cleaning or laying straw etc. We have designed the floor up to 8 inches above the ground, so you don't need to worry about it getting wet inside due to snow or rain. It also prevents snow from covering the entrance.
